In-club tournaments for both singles and doubles are held throughout the year. Our Holiday Magic and Sweetheart Doubles tournaments are two of Ohio's longest running and recognizeable events. Premier at Sawmill Athletic Club is also the host club for the annual State of Ohio Memorial Open 4-Wall Handball Tournament In addition to tournaments, the Club offers seasonal once-per-week leagues for men and women of all abilities below professional. League participation usually consists of a 12 week season.

      No-Shows and Injuries

Any player who No-Shows for a league match without contacting his/her opponent or the club with advanced notice, or without sufficient reason more than once will be dropped from the schedule and all matches played, and scores recorded, against that opponent will be scratched. This policy is dependent on reporting of no-shows from other players.

Schedules will be adjusted when possible to accommodate league drops or season-ending injuries, but generally the resulting open court time will belong to the previously scheduled opponent for training, make-up matches or a friendly game, preferably scheduled with another member of the same league.

      Byes

Most leagues will have byes on the schedule. Points are not awarded and scores should not be recorded on bye-weeks.
