“Lucilene grew a passion for having a healthy lifestyle when she came to the United States in 2009. She started educating herself on the active and essential way of living. Lu wanted to find an activity that would naturally heal her body as well as her mind. In 2010 she found that yoga was the answer. As opposed to many other workouts, Lu feels that with a commitment to yoga it can naturally build muscle tone, strength, flexibility, and empower the mind.
As Lu began to feel the transformation yoga had in her life, she felt inspired to share this gift with others. She is a RYT 200 graduate who has dedicated herself to the practice, study and teaching of yoga. Lu`s teaching style is very nourishing, yet powerful. Healthy breathing, alignment, and balanced energy flow are consistent points of focus in her practice. When you leave Lu`s class you will not only feel like you had a productive workout; you will also feel enlivened and renewed.
When Lu is not inspiring and educating other yogis, she enjoys being a mommy, travelling, dancing and spending time with family and friends."
